Hola!
it s been a while again, so time for an update!
After Rosario I spent about a week in Entre Rios around Colon, watching Uruguay on the other side of Rio Uruguay. It was raining a lot and quite cold, and i found myself asking what i was doing in Argentina in the winter, when i was trying to get my clothes dry over my cooking stove! But anyhow had a nice time exploring the area and finding treasures of pacha mama in the form of agates and jaspers,...!
After colon i headed up nore north in search of warmer weather and some real adventures in Corrientes, a huge province from which more then half is practicably unreachable because of swamps... it holds one of the biggest wetland areas from the continent, and reaching the heart of that was my mission! It was quite adventurous to get there, and once there it started to rain for 4 days!!! the swamp was coming from all sides and i had to change my tent for a room in the village! the streets where muddy pools and it was ancles up the mud! again quickly all got wet and humid and i found myself drying my stuff over the fir again, haha... at least it wasn t so cold as before, so things got better...
after some days, there was kind of food shortage in the village as no transport could reach it, meaning as well difficult to get out, haha, stuck in the swamps!
But when finally the sun came back it was magic! such a stunning artwork of mother nature! Also the wildlife seemed to enjoy the first sun and i spotted plenty of animals! I enjoyed so much that instead of getting out i planted my tent again and hang out there for a few more days...intrigued by the nature and the life of the small community there! People found it quite strange that an extranjero stayed that long in their community and it opened up doors because of their curiousity! wonderfull time in esteros, really!
I got out and continued my quest further up northeast and got into Misiones province... a tropìcal area with red earth and lush greenery... my shanti times in nature brought back a bit my intuitive feelings and got into a village connected with some great people... so spend the past days making breads and pizzas in clay and cowshitoven, talking about nature and natural life, exploring the area, swimming naked in the parana river overlooking paraguay on the other side,etc! In the next days I ll go scout in a remote area here for some beautiful nature, who knows i might find a place for my project!

Beste Bram,
Toen ik het begin van je mail las kwam mij dat niet onbekend voor, want ook hier is het geen zomerweer en hebben we vandaag weer een natte dag achter de rug alhoewel het deze namiddag dan weer opklaarde. Warm is het hier evenmin, toch niet als je dit zomer mag noemen. Toch denk ik dat we nog van geluk mogen spreken dat we droog kunnen eten, slapen, TV kijken,...
Geniet verder van de mooie dingen die moedertje natuur je gunt!
Bedankt dat je ons laat mee genieten via die prachtige foto's, ongelooflijk mooi!
